There is dinner, and then there is dinner with a ring of fire spinning a few metres from your table. Twice a week at Crystal Bay, the beach in front of the restaurant turns into a stage and the fire dancers take over.
When it runs
Fire shows happen every Tuesday and Friday at 19:30. The performance lasts around twenty minutes, and it runs right on the sand in full view of the dining area, so there is no bad seat in the house. Shows go ahead in most weather and only pause for heavy rain.
How to get the best seat
The tables closest to the water give you the clearest view and the best photos, and they are the first to go on show nights. To be sure of one, arrive for dinner from around 18:30 or message us ahead on WhatsApp and we will reserve a spot near the front.
Come hungry. The kitchen runs full service through the show, so you can order seafood, Thai favourites or a plate of something for the table while you watch. The bar keeps going late, so there is no rush to leave once the last torch goes out.
Good to know
- Shows are free to watch for anyone dining with us.
- Bring a phone or camera. The slow shutter shots of the fire trails are worth it.
- Families are welcome. The performers keep a safe distance from the tables at all times.
If you are planning your week on the island, build a Tuesday or Friday evening around Silver Beach. Sunset, dinner and a fire show in one sitting is a hard night to beat.
